Anna
Anna Wu grew up in Michigan household of a Chinese pastor and most of her life she felt lost and uncertain of her future. However, after attending a conference in college, God meet with her and said that she needed to go to China. Soon after graduating college, she was accepted to Huazhong University of Science and Technology to obtain her Master’s in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in Wuhan, China. Originally she intended to study, but God had other plans for her. During her time in China, God gave her an opportunity to meet people from all over the world and was fascinated by their culture and stories. In addition, this was the time she truly experienced God’s love as she learned about her insecurities in a foreign country utterly alone. Since then, she has been in the non-profit sector for 4 years wanting to be an example of God’s love and being able to be there for those who feel alone in their lives. When attending Church of the Beloved, she felt that this church was a great reflection of what she believes along with a community that was welcoming to all. She is blessed to be a part of an amazing establishment.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and learning new recipes from different cuisines. You will most likely see her in a Sephora or watching YouTube videos checking out beauty products and makeup tips. She also loves to watch movies because it allows her to see life through another person’s eyes. Most of all, she loves to serve and put a smile on people’s faces.
