About Membership

We believe that becoming a member of a local church body is biblical. It is a commitment to a group of people – to hear God’s word preached together, to perform the ordinances Jesus gave to the church together, to love/exhort/admonish the body together. Above all, it is a commitment not only to receive, but to use your unique giftings to serve the body. (Hebrews 13:17;1 Cor. 5:1-13; 1 Cor. 12)

How do I become a member?

We so excited you're interested in becoming a covenant member of our church!

To become a member at Church of the Beloved, you need to begin by attending a Jumpstart Class at your campus. Jumpstart is a one hour class designed to help you get connected at our church. It is offered at every campus monthly. You can find out more about Jumpstart on this page.

After you've attended Jumpstart, there are two membership classes you'll need to attend. In these classes, you'll learn more about our history, our vision as a church, and the values that make us who we are. You'll have opportunities to ask questions, get to know our pastors, and meet other people from our church.

After you complete both classes, one of our leaders will schedule a brief meeting with you to give you an opportunity to ask any remaining questions and to review our membership covenant together. After that meeting, we'll schedule a date to introduce you to your campus and induct you as a member.

Upcoming Membership Classes

The classes can be taken at any time and in any order. When you're available, sign up for any of the classes offered below!
